Wilson Collazo
Chief Technology Officer

Wilson Collazo launched his career in 1979 at ADP Brokerage in Chicago. He later joined LIT America (acquired by First Options of Chicago) where he was responsible for the design, construction, and implementation of the company’s data center. Mr. Collazo’s extensive experience also includes the design, construction, and implementation of data centers for The Arbitrage Group (in the Federal Reserve Building) and Options Funding Group. After more than two decades in the industry, Mr. Collazo joined TJM Institutional Services, LLC, in 2002.  He subsequently designed, built, and implemented state of the art data centers for TJM and its clients. Mr. Collazo’s wealth of experience and expertise in a broad range of technologies has allowed him to take TJM’s technology offerings to a new level, supporting virtually any voice or data application.

 

Jose M. Laboy
Network Manager

Jose Laboy joined TJM Institutional Services in 2006. He began his career in 1991 at LIT America, as an IBM mainframe operator. In 1993, Mr. Laboy joined PC Quote, Inc., taking on the responsibilities of an operations specialist and system engineer. He left in 1996 and joined Metamor Technologies as a network/system consultant, working on multiple projects with law firms and medical institutions. In 1998, The Arbitrage Group recruited Mr. Laboy as a system engineer, and during that time he assisted in a data center buildout and central office relocation project. Mr. Laboy left The Arbitrage Group in 2000 with its founder and started a new company, MM Squared, as its network operation manager. He has acquired multiple certifications in Novell, Microsoft, and Cisco, among others.

 

Tony Goris
System Engineer

Tony Goris joined TJM in 2007. He currently focuses on the impact that software applications have on TJM’s corporate network and their ability to enhance trader performance. He also leads the operations group in dealing with day-to-day trading issues. Mr. Goris started his IT career in 1995 at PR Newswire as a computer operator. Within two years, he had risen to regional technology manager supporting a wide array of software and hardware systems. Joining The Arbitrage Group, LLC, in 1997, Mr. Goris would eventually become its technology manager and the development group’s liaison for prop trading software—from the implementation phase through production. He became the systems manager for Harrison Trading Group (HTG) in 2002. HTG’s focus on futures trading provided Mr. Goris with a deeper understanding of all aspects of the process, including order latencies, front and back ends, and clearing. He has received certified training in Windows, Cisco, and Citrix, as well as instruction from several vendors of trading software.

 

Cary Sykora
Software Engineer

Cary Sykora joined TJM in 2004. He specializes in Microsoft products and other software solutions for building efficient, secure, and optimized IT infrastructures. Specializing in Active Directory and Exchange, he is also experienced on Novell and Linux platforms. Mr. Sykora’s background includes work as a field technician for Chicago area consulting companies and as a lead Windows administrator at a Chicagoland hospital. He began his career in 1991 while still in high school, building custom PC platforms for boutique hardware manufacturer PC Pros. While in college, he handled the IT responsibilities for a dot-com company’s retail website. Mr. Sykora holds Microsoft MCP, MCSA, and MCSE certifications.
